Regulatory Workshops
We provide supports and workshops regarding HIQA compliance.
New National Standards and What They Mean for Your Organisation
As the draft National Standards published by the Health, Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) bring long waited guidance to all-home support services across Ireland, service providers will be required to demonstrate compliance with these new standards and regulations.
Home support services can present complex issues as the ‘service environment’ is both a home and a workplace.
How We Can Help
To prepare service providers for these changes we offer a one-day workshop which outlines the expectations of the standards and regulations, the principles underpinning the regulatory compliance and how service providers can begin to prepare for the changes.
The workshops will cover how the new standards affect:
Leadership
Governance and Management
Clinical Governance
People Management & Learning and Development
Person-Centred Care/Quality of Care (incorporating a Human Rights Based Approach to Care)
Risk Management and Stakeholder Engagement.
The workshops are delivered by Kathleen Vickers and her associate Maeve O’Sullivan. To learn more about the workshops please get in touch.
